 Care Instructions

  • Made from natural wood; delicate details may chip if dropped or handled roughly.

  • Each piece is handmade, so slight variations in color and expression make your brooch truly unique.

 About the Artist
Teruaki Tanaka has devoted over 60 years to mastering the art of wood carving and painting. Each feather of his birds carries life and character, creating “living poems” in wood. Based in Hokkaido, Japan, Tanaka’s work reflects the vast skies, winds, and natural beauty of his homeland. His philosophy: carving wood is carving the wind; painting is painting the sky.
