This hand-carved wooden brooch depicts the Northern Owl, created by Tsubomi Studio in Obihiro, Hokkaido.

The Northern Owl is one of the largest owl species, known for its round face and striking yellow eyes.
In this piece, its powerful presence is gently transformed into a charming “Lovebird”, a signature style of the artist.

Every feather pattern, every shadow around the eyes is carefully carved and hand-painted, capturing both the dignity of the owl and the warmth of handcrafted art.
