A Quiet Story of a Cat, Captured in Japanese Cloisonné

This elegant brooch features a resting cat, created by Japanese enamel artist Keiko Sera in Narashino, Chiba.
Handcrafted using the traditional cloisonné (shippoyaki) technique, each detail is carefully outlined with fine silver wire, then filled with colorful enamel and fired at high temperature to achieve a luminous, glass-like finish.

The cat’s white and orange fur shines with a gentle gloss, while its calm blue eyes offer a quiet gaze—like a small painting you can wear close to your heart.
