Hello from Japan. This is an amber pendant depicting a dragon ascending in maki-e, a traditional Japanese technique. In Japan, the ascending dragon has long been regarded as a symbol of good luck, as it means that one's luck will increase. This item is completely handmade in Japan, and there is only one identical piece in the world.

The dragon is expressed by Taka-Maki-e (a traditional technique of lacquer work) and gold leaf is applied in some places to express clouds. Gold leaf is also applied from the back side to make the background of the dragon shine. The left side facing you represents a starry sky with coarse gold powder and luminous shells.

Comes with a leather strap (black, genuine leather, 40 cm + adjuster 5 cm)
Gold chain in the photo is not included in this listing.

Material: amber
Metal fittings: K18
Size: 45mm x 25mm x 13mm (approximate length x width x thickness)
Weight: 7.2 grams (weight of pendant only)
