Handcrafted by Kiyotaka Yamazaki, a ceramic artist from Seto, Aichi, Japan, this unique wall clock features a gecko motif—known in Japan as Yamori, the “home guardian.” Traditionally, geckos are believed to bring protection and good fortune to households.

The clock is made from hand-fired stoneware with a natural, textured finish. Delicate gold accents highlight the gecko’s eyes and the 12 hour markers, adding a subtle, elegant glow. Its playful and charming design brings both personality and a sense of protection to any wall.

 About the Artist – Kiyotaka Yamazaki / Craft Yuki
Born in 1956 in Nagasaki and based in Seto, Aichi, Yamazaki specializes in ceramic animals that capture the warmth of nature and the simplicity of handcrafted forms. Every piece is individually hand-painted, making each clock a unique work of art.
