Teapot handmade by Kinya Watanabe, a leader of modern craft. The simple form is the ultimate in sophistication.
It is a work of high perfection with a drawing that looks like a doodle but is in fact a search for optimal values.  It is a work of high perfection.
The dried, unglazed fabric is coated with a water-repellent agent, and the lines are freely scraped off with a silk needle. By inlaying Kuresu pigment, which Mr. Watanabe uniquely blended, into the lines thus engraved, delicate yet life-like drawings are born.
This simple yet sophisticated teapot will surely add color to any space you occupy. It is also a stylish gift item.
