This pendant makes full use of the Lacquer Urushi (maki-e) technique.
A circle is made with yellowish green Urushi lacquer and a fine pattern is created within it with gold and silver powders.

The warmth of the amber and the precision of the maki-e technique will give the wearer a pleasant feeling of the changing of the seasons. This item is perfect as a gift or a reward for yourself. Maki-e lacquer work on yellow amber from Lithuania with a design of “Yukoku”.

This design has existed in Japan for about 1,000 years, and was worn by noblemen in those days.
