Hello from Japan. These earrings have a lovely round owl on them. These earrings are made of Lithuanian cognac amber with a picture of an owl perched on a tree, drawn in maki-e, a traditional Japanese technique. The belly part is made of silver with gold feather patterns, and the head part is finished mainly with gold powder.
The eyes are made of abalone shells, which glow from different angles and show interesting expressions.
