Hasami ware is a traditional style of Japanese pottery from Nagasaki Prefecture with over 400 years of history. Known for its durable white porcelain and refined blue-and-white painting, Hasami ware has evolved to include playful and modern designs beloved by all generations.

About the Artist

This piece is created by Shinya Yoshimura of Rakugama Studio in Hasami Town. His work carries on the traditions of Hasami ware while adding warmth and humor to everyday life. Each mug is hand-crafted and hand-painted, making every piece one-of-a-kind.
